    At present, the trap types using the enterprise equipment on the comparison of the variety, can be divided into two classes: thermal power type and mechanical type, its use effect is not ideal. Thermal power type drain valve, due to structure and action principle, water,steam is exhausted, misoperation, in the case of no water willexhaust, causing a lot of waste steam, leakage rate of 6% ~ 10%,easy damage, short service life.

      Mechanical type traps (such as thefloating ball lever, inverted bucket etc) because of structural reasons, easy to wear, resulting in leakage of steam, generally in 3% ~ 6%. While the new energy efficient non pump backpressuretype steam hydrophobic valve through the national testing center ofhydrophobic valve test, the leakage rate ≤ 0.1%, if calculated by 1%, than other types of traps steam at 5% above the average.

Heating cold water that is 1 tons of 20 ℃ to 85 ℃ 0.2MPa saturated steam 116 kg, in turn, recycling 1 tons of 85 ℃ high temperaturecondensation water can save 0.2MPa saturated steam 116 kg.
