    1.Design and selection of mechanical seal, no 

    2.The poor quality of mechanical seal;

    3.Use or installation of mechanical seal machine accuracy is not up to the requirements;

Mechanical Seals for FGD

    1.The sealing surface of open

    In the repair of mechanical seals, sealing the 85% failure is notcaused by wear, but the wear before the leak.

    2.Overheating

    Because of the sealing surface will generate heat, so the rubber ring temperature should be lower than the design specification.The use of temperature fluorine rubber and PTFE is 216 ℃,temperature of nitrile rubber is 162 ℃, although they are able to withstand the high temperature, heat is higher because of sealing surface is generated, so the rubber ring is dangerous tovulcanization, eventually lose their elasticity and leakage. (coldarea into a cold brittle)

Between the sealing surface and also because of heat inducedcrystallization of the media, such as carbon, causing sliding partsstuck and the sealing surface condensation. And some polymer because of overheating and coking, some fluid overheat and loselubrication even flash fire.

     In addition to change medium overheating situation, aggravatedthe corrosion rate of it. Deformation of metal parts, alloy surfacecracking, as well as some coating cracks, design should adoptbalanced mechanical seal, in order to reduce the pressure to prevent overheating.
