Installation the technical requirements of Mechanical Seal

    Technical requirements for installation

    Mechanical seal is belongs to the high precision mechanical components, have greatly influence on the service life of thecorrect installation and operation of it. We generally in accordance with the provisions of the Ministry of chemical industry standard oil.

    The installation of pump and mechanical seal with some technicalrequirements are as follows:

    1.Shaft bending: the maximum of not more than 0.05 mm;

    2.The rotor vibration swing: dynamic ring seal at the shaft near is not greater than 0.06 mm;

    3.The axial movement, axis does not exceed ± 0.5 mm, if the beltshaft sleeve, do not allow the sleeve to loose;

    4.The alignment of the coupling error: for the gear coupling is not more than 0.08 ~ 0.10 mm (P2008C), for the elastic coupling is not more than 0.05 ~ 0.06 mm; (<0.05 practices end jump, jump <0.10)

    5.The gland (static ring seat) and sealed with the rabbet of shaftcenter line of the concentricity tolerance of 0.05 mm, flat contact with the gasket on the center line of the verticality tolerance value0.03 ~ 0.05 mm, if not up to the requirements, the seal cavity to be processed;

    6.Install the ring sleeve end sealing ring, and the installation of a stationary ring gland sealing ring (or shell) of the end should bechamfered, and smoothed.

Mechanical Seals for FGD

   1.In the installation, the demolition of mechanical seals to carefully,prohibited the use of hammer and the flat shovel, so as not todamage the sealing element. If the fouling removing when not,should be cleaned after the removal.

   2.If the pump with mechanical seal at both ends, in the assembly,take care of each other in the disassembly process, prevent thecare for this and lose that.

Seal 3, to run the machine, and the sealing gland loose move to happen, then the dynamic and static ring parts must be replaced,should not be re tightened to continue to use. After the originalloose because of friction pair orbit would change, the contactsurface of the seal is very vulnerable to damage.
