    Coupling mainly divided into the following categories:

    The multi field coupling

     In the practical engineering, physical field is many, the temperature field, stress field, humidity field and so on are physical field, manyproblems we want to solve is the superposition of these physical field, because these fields directly influence each other. For example, when the temperature of the steel stress distribution haveeffect.

    The problem of the superposition of multiple physical fields is called multi field coupling problem, is also a kind of coupling.

    Energy coupling

    As the energy coupling between the primary and the secondary of the transformer.

Data coupling

   A module to access another module, each other is through simple data parameters (not the control parameters, the public datastructures or external variables) to exchange information input,output.

Stamp coupling

   A set of modules transfer record information through the parameter list, is labeled coupling. The record is a sub structure of a data structure, rather than a simple variable. In fact, transmission is thedata structure;

Control coupling

   If a module through the transfer switch, logo, name and control information, obviously control the selection of another module, is to control the coupling.

Elastomer Coupling

   External coupling

   A set of modules have access to the same global simple variablerather than a global data structure, and not through the parameter list transfer the information of global variables, it is called theexternal coupling.

   Common coupling

   If a set of modules have access to the same public data environment, is the coupling between them is called the common coupling. Public data environment can be a global data structure,shared memory communication area, public areas.

   Content coupling

    When a module directly modify or operation of another moduledata, or directly into another module, came the content coupling. At this time, the modified module entirely dependent on themodification of its modules. If any of the following circumstances,between the two modules is content coupling

    1.The internal data of a module directly access another module;

    2.A module is not through the normal entrance to the inside of amodule;

    3.Two modules have a part of the program code overlap (can only occur in assembly language);

    4.A module with a plurality of entrance.

    Non direct coupled

    There is no direct relationship between the two modules, the relationship between them is realized by the main control moduleand call.
