The advantages and disadvantages of ball valve

     Advantage.

Transmission chain

     Shortcomings:

    Because the main valve seat seal material is PTFE, it has almost all chemical substances are inert, and has a small friction coefficient,stable performance, not easy to aging, temperature and wide range of application and characteristics of comprehensive performance ofsealing. But the physical properties of PTFE, including the high expansion coefficient, the sensitivity of the cold and poor thermal conductivity, required seating must be designed around these characteristics. 

     So, when the sealing material hardens, the sealing reliability is destroyed. Moreover, PTFE temperature is lower grade,can only be used in less than 180 ℃. Over this temperature,sealing materials will be aging. But consider the long-term use,generally do not use at 120 ℃.

     Regulation performance it is relative to the valve to be worse,especially the pneumatic valve (or electric valve).
