1 the valve body material should be ductile cast iron, cast steel,stainless steel, 316L, as, and indicate the grade and the actual physical and chemical test data of cast iron.
2 stem material, and strive to stainless steel stem (2CR13), large diameter valves should be embedded in the package of stainless steel valve stem.
3 nut material, with cast brass or cast bronze, and the hardness and strength are greater than the stem.
4 stem bushing material, its hardness and strength shall be not greater than the stem, and is immersed in water conditions and valve body is not the formation of electrochemical corrosion.

.5 sealing surface material
1) elastic valve seat seal category is not a material requirements,and not a seal;
2) ordinary wedge gate valve, copper ring material, fixed mode,lapping mode shall be explained;
3) soft sealing gate valve, valve plate lining material physical chemistry and health examination data;
6 the valve shaft packing
1) due to pipe network in the elastic valve seat seal, usually open and close not frequent, requirements of packing is not active in a number of years, the filler is not aging, long-term effects remain sealed;
2) the valve shaft packing should also be subjected to frequentopening and closing, good sealing effect;
3) in view of the above requirements, the valve shaft packing tolifelong does not change or 10 years without replacement;
4) packing for replacement, pneumatic valve should be designed to have water pressure conditions change measures.
